1st Annual Performance Plus Bull Sale
Offering 50 Quality Angus Bulls

The First Annual Performance Plus Bull Sale has been held, and was a great success, with 33 Bulls sold of 47 offered, to a top of $5500 four times, and an average of $3333.

Once again we would like to thank Elders for their support and help in running the sale, and also Grant Jackson and Stephen Stone for allowing us to use The Basin sale complex. A big thanks also to the Willalooka Cricket Club for their asssistance on sale day in washing the bulls and assisting in working them through the ring, Maaaarvellous effort that!
Sale Information
SALE TIME
The sale is scheduled to commence at 1pm SA time on
Monday February 15 2010. Inspections are welcome from 10 am on
sale day or any other time by appointment. We encourage buyers to
inspect the bulls prior to sale. This gives us the opportunity to assist
in selection of genetics to best fit your herd.
SA STUD BEEF FIELD DAYS
All bulls catalogued for the sale will be available for inspection
at the Field Day. Tuesday February 9, at “Leonawood”, Dukes
Highway, Keith.

THE STONEY POINT GUARANTEE
All Stoney Point Performance Angus Bulls are backed by a 2 breeding season guarantee. In the event of a bull proving to be infertile, or incapable of natural service within 2 breeding seasons or 24 months (whichever comes first) of the purchase date, the vendor will credit the purchase price less the salvage value of
the bull, provided the problem is not caused by injury or disease incurred since taking delivery. Any claims must be accompanied by a realevant veterinary certificate. The vendor reserves the right to obtain an independent veterinary assessment to confirm any claim.
HERD HEALTH
Stoney Point Performance Angus is currently MN2 Status for Bovine Johnes.
All Sale Bulls have been treated with:
- 7 In 1 plus annual booster
- Vibrovax plus booster
- Pestigard plus booster
- Eprinex and B12 Plus Selenium
All bulls have been Semen Tested and Vet Inspected by Dr Vic
Coleman, Keith.
All bulls have been Beef Class Structurally assessed by accredited assessor Max Bowman, results will be available on a supplementary sheet on sale day. No Bulls have had their feet trimmed.
All bulls have been ear notch tested negative for Pesti Virus by Swans Veterinary Service, WA (see accompanying letter)
ARTHROGRYPOSIS MULTIPLEX (AM)

All bulls selling are either free of AM by parentage, or have been
tested free of AM. No carrier bulls will be offered for sale.
DELIVERY
Stoney Point Performance Angus offers free delivery to buyers
within a 500km radius of Keith. Delivery will be co-ordinated
immediately after the sale, either to be trucked from the sale venue or
to be returned to Leonawood until trucking is available. All bulls are
purcahsers risk from the fall of the hammer. We recommend all bulls
be insured. A representative of the selling agents will be available to
assist with this.
REBATE
A rebate of 5% will apply to outside agents introducing buyers in
writing to the selling agent prior to the sale and settling within 7 days.
PHONE BIDDING
Phone bidding can be arranged prior to the sale by speaking to the
selling agents.
BUYERS INSTRUCTIONS
No buyers instruction form is included in the catalogue. Sale Agents
prefer their own “Buyers Instructions” cards. All purchasers must
complete one of these cards prior to leaving the sale. no verbal
instructions will be accepted.
REGISTRATION STATUS
All bulls selling are either Herd Book Registered (HBR) or Angus
Performance Registered (APR) and can be transferred at no cost.
REFRESHMENTS
Refreshments will be available throughout the sale, and we would
also like to invite all cattle producers to stay on after the sale for an
after sale barbeque and get together.
